Chris specialises in helping medical practitioners and their practices manage their business risks. He regularly speaks at medical conferences on insurance, medico risk management and privacy compliance topics. Chris has a particular interest in helping young doctors make the transition from public to private practice, doctors forming group medical practices, and privacy compliance.
Prior to co-founding MGR, Chris worked in-house for the largest medical indemnity insurer in Australia where he lead the products department including responsibly for the development and management of medical indemnity policies – this unique insight into the inner workings of medical indemnity allows Chris to assist clients when they need it most – at claim time.
Spanning 20+ years, Chris has advised some of the largest Australian medical corporates, allied heath associations, private hospitals and other healthcare businesses. Chris has a thorough understanding of medical indemnity legislation and holds numerous insurance qualifications and
a Master of Applied Finance.
In his spare time you will usually find Chris surfing, fishing or at the beach with his family.
